Instagram friendly places in Hong Kong

Are you looking for a city where you can snap the perfect Instagram pictures? welcome to Hong Kong. The city of everything. Hong Kong is really a beautiful place with a mix of old and new. Here below are some insta friendly places you cannot miss out if going there.

Colorful houses

Public estates were constructed all over Hong Kong and many of them are still there. Choi Hung is one of them featuring colorful houses. A well instagramed spot is a basketball court infront of one of the buildings. A must see place that brings you to a real local experience.

Streetart in LKG

In the narrow alleys in LKF, the clubbing district, you will find a lot of streetart paintings. An outdoor museum worth a visit.

Golden buddhas

Buddhism is a major religion in Hong Kong and Asia alike. 10 000 buddhas temple is located in Sha Thin. If you want to take unique pictures or make a selfie with a buddha this is the place to go to.

Natural scenery

Climb up to any of the many mountains and get views like a drone without having one. Available all around Hong Kong.

Foodies

If you are up for making food photograps, congrats. In Hong Kong there are eataries all around and one is serving more instagram firendly dishes than the other one. Yick Cheong building

This place was a real gem. During my last HKG visit I went here and it was truley an amazing place. The wiral word of it has spead across the globe and I was far from the only tourist there. Actually it was prohibited to enter for photo reasons but… I was also supporting the local shop with buying a drink so I consider that as my entrance ticket. Give and take.

Harbour view

The Hong Kong habour is a fantastic place for photographers to shoot pictures at. The most amazing time is of course during new years eve when it is light up by fireworks but every night it is amazing there. If you want pictures from above go to Lugard road at HKG island or the overlook platform at The Peak.
