Tourist in Bath, UK

The little gem of Bath in the west part of England had opened my eyes for another gem outside the main tourist hubs in UK. Beautiful place making you feel part of a UK fairytale.

Two Tunnels marathon, Bath UK

Bath was a great city in the UK. I left with a smile and marathon number 40 in my backpack but the road to the finish line was hot and demanding.

Arctic circle race

I went far up in North Sweden just at the Polar circle to run an amazing trail run. If the views was not enough I can tell that we also got transported to the start by helicopter. Definitely a once in a lifetime race.

Visiting the pyramids in Cairo

Flew over to Egypt to visit the pyramids and it was an amazing trip. A few days and so many impressions. Recommended!

Neuschwanstein and marathon

Took the train across the boarder to visit Bavaria. The fairytale part of Germany. Checked out Neuschwanstein castle and finished another marathon.

Rio de Janeiro

Amazing Rio. Had a blast for five days when I revisited the Brazilian jewel. The marathon was also one of a kind. Recommended.

Geneva marathon weekend

Geneva marathon is now also in my collection. A very nice race in the French part of Switzerland. Strongly recommended for a weekend trip.

City trip to Bratislava

New country and new streets to walk. I didn’t fell in love with the place but it is worth a day trip from Vienna.

Bratislava marathon

First marathon as a 40 year old. Finished strong in ice cold Bratislava. Who could have guessed that?

A spring day in Vienna

On my way to Bratislava I took a day enjoying Vienna by foot. A beautiful spring day and I got the best impression you can imagine of the Austrian capital.
