Rome topped with a marathon

42 195 meters of work and a lot of kilometers preparation behind the scenes. Running the streets of Rome with 36 000 fellow runners was absolutely incredible.

Tokyo marathon

A runners dream has been fulfilled. I managed to run Tokyo marathon and it was a very unique experience.

Weekend trip to Basque

Visited the bay of Biscane for a weekend and found a for me new lovely place in Spain. Bilbao. Combined it with a half marathon in San Sebastián a weekend that had its ups and downs.

Berlin marathon 2025

Berlin marathon finisher. My third major medal. It was a tough but fun day on the streets in Berlin.

Arctic circle race

I went far up in North Sweden just at the Polar circle to run an amazing trail run. If the views was not enough I can tell that we also got transported to the start by helicopter. Definitely a once in a lifetime race.

Geneva marathon weekend

Geneva marathon is now also in my collection. A very nice race in the French part of Switzerland. Strongly recommended for a weekend trip.

Bratislava marathon

First marathon as a 40 year old. Finished strong in ice cold Bratislava. Who could have guessed that?

Running in Malta

Malta is a great place for runners. Good climate during winter months and a lot of races to choose between.

What Skopje has to offer

Think, a weekend destination that not everyone has been to. Does it exist? for sure. Skopje is one place you need to travel to if you look for one.

Victoria falls half marathon

Headed to Zimbabwe for a runacation at the stunning Victoria falls. It was a true wow trip from start to the end.
