I went far up in North Sweden just at the Polar circle to run an amazing trail run. If the views was not enough I can tell that we also got transported to the start by helicopter. Definitely a once in a lifetime race.
Why run one race when you can do two in 12 hours? I challenged myself to run a 5K beach run and a half marathon in Krabi, Thailand as the end of my vacation.
Stockholm was burning hot. 27 degrees and absolutely not marathon conditions. It was a fight for everyone during the 42 195 meters in the gazing sun and I am very happy I made it all the way to the finish line yet another time. My fifith one in Stockholm.
Vasaloppet 2024 was my 7th one and was a tough one. It required strength, passion and a never give up attitude when the weather was against every skier on the starting line.
